  1. I’m very happy Uncle Joe chide Kamala as VP! She’s a force to be reckoned with. The sexist, racist attacks from the left let us know hie much they’re afraid of her. Also, the VP debate will be soooo god when she takes on The Devil’s Butler...
Oh, and I love Janet Jackson! Sly and the Family Stone are legend.

    XoXo

  2. Yes to Kamala Harris!!! And, oh, Janet Jackson and Nasty... such a good choice! Saw Bill Withers in Central Park in the '70s. Ahhhhhhhh..... Lean on Me.

  3. Of course Nasty had to be on your list. If those whining Republicans think she was nasty to Kavanaugh, wait until they see what she does to Pence.

  5. Tears rolled down my face during their first appearance on TV. It has been so long since I've heard sincerity and decency.

I'm singing "Oh Happy Day". Have a happy day, nice lady.

  7. Getting increasingly jumpy over Nov. Won't it be way beyond catastrophic if your postal vote, along with dozens of millions of like-minded, fair-minded others, are deemed NOT to have arrived 'in time' to be counted? It's clear that 'he' will not stop at ANYthing, even if in the end it means telling his supporters to get their guns loaded and ready! Wouldn't put it past him. Sometimes think I'm more worried than many Americans themselves - though I'd rather believe that I watch just too many alarmist reports every morning on TYT, ROF, Damage Report, B.T.Cohen, as well as CNN, MSNBC...... Wish I could just switch off - my mind, I mean. Not doing my blood pressure much good. :-(

    1. Sorry to have been so downbeat, W.Q., when everyone else is managing to sound bouncy. If I'd played your video offerings before writing I should have been in a more uplifted mood.

    2. we too are worried about our mail-in ballot. our county government officials are trying to think up solutions to avoid the USPS. all we can do is wait right now. ballots will be mailed next month.

  8. Hello! I love the music and the new, shiny button at the top of the sidebar. I'm online trying to visit everyone before we have another rolling blackout. It's over 100 degrees here, and the state doesn't have enough energy for the whole power grid.

I hope your weekend is going better.

  9. So happy about Kamala... she has already energized this whole election. Can't wait to see her in action. Pence will not know what hit him. Thanks for the music. Sly and the Family Stone... love that song. Bobby Lewis, Johnny Taylor, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas... YES. Kisses.

Loved the selections. Never see a Whitney without thinking, "What an absolute shame", that spread down the generation.

    3. my first 12 years of school were lily-white. college was a diverse student body. when I lived in the DC area for 20 years, things REALLY got diverse. and I am the better person for having experienced a large culture range.
