Oh, and from what I hear on this morning's news, our thoughts and prayers to and for our much respected and revered Rudy. Can we count on you to join us, W.Q.? ;-)
Thanks for starting this show with "Heat Wave!" Too many only know of Ronstadt's version. And "Jimmy Mack!" I have not heard that one is so very, very long.
This weekly post bring back such gems and memories with each song it reminds of of when I hear songs on the Lawrence Welk show on Saturdays on PBS. But where his bubbles flow, it's cock-a-tails here!!!!! I liked these girls far more then the Supremes.
Ya know, with the rich treasure trove of music I had as a young'un, I never understood the allure of The Beatles. Still don't. I suppose that's just me.
I noticed your comment at two men and a little farm about giving poisonous mushrooms to the people who won't wear masks. I'd like to include people who say they won't get the vaccine. I'm going to follow you.
Oh, Ms. DJ... you play the finest stuff around. Such elegant ladies... and they did all go to Motown's finishing school! Thank you for this stroll down memory lane, hon. Kizzes.
I didn't know half these tracks but I do now - showing how to be both 'hot' and 'cool' at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHave a cosy and warm w/e W.Q. - and let 'them' all cuddle up to you, just as I'm doing.
