Very typical 80s sound. Should have remembered this but I didn't. (It reached #21 here in 1984.) Singer with vaguely Sting-like looks. All pretty good.
I'm not sure I agree with you, A.M. Sting has always looked pretty hot to me - and that's coming from a general preferer of furry faces. Maybe it's something to do with all that tantric sex for hours on end - or was it days?
I used to joke with a friend of mine who loved Sting that he could do it for "x" number of hours thanks to tantric. Every time I said it, I always made it longer and longer. Eventually we were up to days. LOL
Raybeard - Funny side note, I'm sitting here reading the blog and clicked on the video. As soon as my husband heard the song, he said, "Oh 'Dance Hall Days'. Reached #16 (Billboard Hot 100) in 1984." He's a walking Billboard reference book when it comes to 80s music.
Robert: Your hubby is very impressive - in more ways than one, I reckon! I nearly always have ro run to my many reference books (rather than Google them) in order to place A.M.'s posted songs in context. I do know a lot of them, but as to dates and positions in the chart, very rarely.
A.M. I wouldn't say that I ever had the 'hots' for Mr Gordon Sumner (I knew THAT without looking it up) but I think he's better looking than most. Let's just agree to differ.
