Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Walk Softly On This Heart Of Mine" - the Kentucky Headhunters, 1990's country rock-n-blues.

Although, considering this week I've spent with a new friend (pneumonia), I should change the title to "Walk Softly On This Lung Of Mine".  And I would totally do the lead singer!

I TOLD you I go all over the map in music genres!

Only 197 days til...(you know what!)

  1. I hope this post betokens continued improvement in your condition, A.M. - even if it's happening slower than you or any of us would wish. Maybe you can manage a little bit of hip swinging again?

Sadly, for some reason your video here and ALL videos have gone silent on me (I've also checked with videos on certain other sites - wink, wink - but once again, nada.) It's not my speakers as I can still get radio and TV progs loud and clear. So a mystery for now which I hope can be solved before much longer. So I'll have to imagine what the sound's like. (Maybe I'll put something of Queen on as a substitute background).

  2. no dancing for me until I get my left lung clear; that is happening slowly.

    1. (Your second para) Grunts and swearing, A.M., grunts and swearing! - No, I'm not referring to C.C.R. (though I could have been) - and neither is it about Queen.

Get well as soon as yesterday, if not sooner!

    4. (I know you'll see this, A.M., because you're one of the relatively few who, like me, check for comments on long past posts)
Just to let you know that I got my video sounds back - yipee! (Something to do with Flash player updates) So I'll be able to dance to your next video-jigger. Bring it on!

    6. Can hardly wait. I'll keep my tap-dance gear ready.

Btw: After I posted the above I felt guilty at realising how very remiss it was of me not to ask after your own welfare. From the mood of your words it sounds like improvement might be being maintained? I do hope so.

  5. Like Raybeard, I got no sound, even though, again like Raybeard, I am able to hear the "music" of "certain other sites." Speaking of which, I would totally do the lead singer also -- even if he made no sound!

    Feel better, Girlfriend!

  6. It's fun to be "all over the map" when it comes to music. My iPod has AC/DC and the Weather Girls. Go figure. It takes all kinds, right?

    1. and I see nothing wrong with your ipod arrangement. life would be boring if all of us listened to the same thing. :)
