Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"No Rain" - cause everyone's felt like the little bee girl sometimes (I know I have!).

  1. At first thought that the w/e would start on a downer, A.M. - "Video not available in YOUR country" (So there!) However, not being one to take it lying down, it was easily found on YouTube so I've now played it on that site (where one can find just about ANYthing - or so I'm told).

Didn't know this record at all (again) - nor the group, this being their only 'hit' here, getting to #17 in 1993, before the band vanished like a meteor. Pleasant enough, I dare say. (Without having noticed your comment it had actually crossed my mind if you were the 'bee girl'. Then I thought "Nah! This girl's not pretty enough!"

Have a fun-packed Sat/Sun, A.M. Hope your Summer's started in earnest without it being TOO oppressing. We're still waiting for ours to REALLY start. Hope it does before the nights start drawing in again - in less than a month's time. Eek!

  3. The group never had much success after the lead singer died from a drug overdose. It is a catchy tune.

    1. makes me snap my fingers every time. I have often thought the lead singer sounds like micky dolenz back in the day. but yeah, once he killed himself, the band died too.
