"I intend to live forever. So far, so good." - Steven Wright
M'ning, Honey Pie.You give us a big, meaty sound this week, and it's thumpingly good. This single, I see, topped the American charts for one single week though only reaching #6 here. Made while Mr Brown, relatively unknown (at least here) up to this point, commanded some respect, before his life started taking on some strange aspects. I think I recall shaking a leg to this one on the dance floors of Deutschland, though it does now sound rather un-disco. But I still like it.Have a super-grand w/e.
morning, king raybeard! 5:45a here. bobby brown was in a group called "new edition" over here before he went solo. his life was/is still a mess. and what he did to whitney houston was criminal. move to the groove, dear!
OH Bobby, Bobby, Bobby. A talented performer with so many demons. I've always been a fan of Whitney Houston. I would like to place the blame of her demise on Bobby, but she allowed him into her life.OK... back to the music. The song kicks ass and gets me moving!!!Have a fabulous weekend, Hon!!!
GO JR GO (at his tournament). everybody rock your body! :)
I sure as hell need some Saturday night dancing to forget my troubles and purify my soul. I love the song!
you can do whatcha wanna doit's your perogative! :)
Bobbbbbaaaaaayyyyyyy! That song is the ONLY thing I ever liked about Mr. Brown. And he didn't make Whitney a drug addict, she did that to herself.
true, but he helped.
I didn’t know this song was Bobby Brown. I never really knew who he was until he married Whitney and became a tabloid sensation. You were up at 5:45 on Saturday???
yeah, miss nyla came a-crawling on me at 5a for breakfast. there is no stopping a cat that's hungry. doesn't ferd do this too?
He does but I go back to bed.
you feed him and go back to bed? or do you ignore him entirely until you awaken at your normal time?

I left a comment over on your blog! I am glad to see you! :)
BTW..... its not the voices in my head telling me what to do, it's the beard on my face!....
geeze, what's MY excuse? :-/
I'd forgotten about this song. Truth be told I think I had come to think of him only as Mr. Houston. That marriage brought out the worst in both of them it seemed
a sad commentary on these two souls indeed.
