M'ning, Honey Pie. You give us a big, meaty sound this week, and it's thumpingly good. This single, I see, topped the American charts for one single week though only reaching #6 here. Made while Mr Brown, relatively unknown (at least here) up to this point, commanded some respect, before his life started taking on some strange aspects. I think I recall shaking a leg to this one on the dance floors of Deutschland, though it does now sound rather un-disco. But I still like it. Have a super-grand w/e.
morning, king raybeard! 5:45a here. bobby brown was in a group called "new edition" over here before he went solo. his life was/is still a mess. and what he did to whitney houston was criminal. move to the groove, dear!
OH Bobby, Bobby, Bobby. A talented performer with so many demons. I've always been a fan of Whitney Houston. I would like to place the blame of her demise on Bobby, but she allowed him into her life.
OK... back to the music. The song kicks ass and gets me moving!!!
Anne Marie….This is Shawn from San Diego…I started a blog my dear….I had cocktails with you at Loews Hotel lobby bar in Philly (with Raymond who is Sassybear’s friend)…I am a Pardes fan….I have been unable till now to comment on your blog….now I can. Are the bells ringing yet….?
I'd forgotten about this song. Truth be told I think I had come to think of him only as Mr. Houston. That marriage brought out the worst in both of them it seemed

And he didn't make Whitney a drug addict, she did that to herself.
