Sunday Morning Scenes

Thank you, boyfriends, for all the birthday wishes!  I had my seafood dinner (shhh, I can hear Ron hurling!) and a quiet day with spouse and cats.

Mah birfday cake - red velvet cuppycake with cream cheese icing from a REAL bakery!

The first orange sweet pepper from the garden!

Miss Gigi wondering why I am taking pix of a pepper and not of her!

  3. And I bet you licked ALL the cream up from the 'red velvet'! (New to me too, though that's hardly surprising.)
Does Gigi want attention, food or both? I suppose they're indistinguishable.

    1. I licked it off slow (like in a porn movie).

gigi wanted attention; she had already eaten breakfast.

  6. Heck girl, come up here and I'll make you an entire red velvet cake! I even have heart shaped pans to make it in. lolz

That's a great looking pepper too. We didn't plant any this year and I can't remember why not! We just got back from the farm stand and hauled home a TON of red, yellow and green peppers.

  7. The traditional Spo-birthday dinner is seafood; so I approve of that!
It's lovely having homegrown peppers isn't it?

  14. Happy belated birthday, dear one. Must say that I'll have to look up that cake recipe, 'cause that's not how we make 'em down south. Glad you enjoyed the day and the seafood dinner. Now, I'm hungry for crabs or shrimp, too. Bother.
