That's a great looking pepper too. We didn't plant any this year and I can't remember why not! We just got back from the farm stand and hauled home a TON of red, yellow and green peppers.
That red velvet cupcake looks delicious! I've had a hankering to make one ever since I bought the Martha Stewart "cakes" DVD. Here is a video of her making it.
Happy belated birthday, dear one. Must say that I'll have to look up that cake recipe, 'cause that's not how we make 'em down south. Glad you enjoyed the day and the seafood dinner. Now, I'm hungry for crabs or shrimp, too. Bother.
