Saturday Meditation

This is how I am feeling right now.

"Never Surrender" - for the Cajun, and he didn't.

The above link is from friend Peter; go sign it.

(I just don't feel like dancing or singing this week)

  1. I don't blame you for not dancing considering the current circumstances. Hope you have a better weekend. You deserve it!

  2. M'ning A.M. Sombre feelings persist after the passing of dear Wayne - and I know how you and some of those he was especially close to, are feeling it particularly badly.

I'm also not in dancing mood, still spluttering and wheezing from the effects of the bug which has had me laid low for a week now. But now we think the corner's been turned so, barring any relapse, should be a steady but slow climb back to recovery. That's what the hope is for anyway.
Have a bright and positive w/e.
    See you later. R.

  3. Hello Anne Marie,

We are so sorry that you are not in a dancing mood and can fully appreciate the reasons why. Although we have only 'known' you a little while, we have come to appreciate your jolly outlook on life, always encouraging others to live life to the full. Now, you must be kind to yourself and give yourself the attention you have so generously given to others. We need you back on the dance floor!

  4. Thank you AM. Cajun understands and respects that we feel sadness but not too long cause his outlook will want us to dance, smile, love and laugh. He left us on Fat Tuesday and doesn't want the parade to stop, he wants to watch.

  5. I only "met" Cajun recently, but I marveled at the way he handled his illness, and the dignity he showed throughout.
I like to think he's happy now, no longer in pain, and laughing somewhere.

    xoxo

  6. Take time to grieve. You will know when it's time to dance again. The music will always be there.

  9. Hi AM, I'm very sorry that I didn't get to meet Wayne "the Cajun", from the videos I saw he seemed like a very happy-go lucky and kind guy. I had hoped he could have made Bloggerpalooza last year. He even took the time to make a few comments on my blog. Also I always liked Corey Hart, though he seemed kind of moody. He still is easy on the eyes. Hope you have a great week my friend. Randy in NEB.

  10. I'm sorry to know you're a bit down - understandingly so - and I'm sure a bit music, in whatever form, will help along this difficult time. What very fitting lyrics! My thoughts with you, too AM!
