Scenes Upon a Snow Day

Snow Day declared on March 5.  So what does one do?  There's work to be done, says Dr. Spo!  Laundry and dishes, for starters.  But who wants to see pix of THAT?  B-O-R-I-N-G!

There was snow; 10 inches of it:

There was baking:

a blueberry cobbler (hot from the oven)

a loaf of beer bread (before baking)

There was knitting:

a new spring shawl

There was a nap; hey, the cats were doing it...

  3. Well snow me in! To be honest, I was "snowed in" today...off work, but HAD to attend an online training course for work. Ugh. In reality, I probably wouldn't have been more than a little less bored if I hadn't had to sit through it!

    Peace <3

    3. I am grateful I have a job with no laptop/cell phone required. work life and home life (IMHO) should be 2 distinct personas, and one DOES NOT creep into the other.

  4. I had the day off, and besides exercising I did what your cats did for roughly an hour and a half. If I didn't have carne asada nachos for lunch, I'd love to have some of that cobbler!

I also had something unpleasant happen today online. I got referred to as an "it" for the first time.

I like any kind of cobbler blueberry or otherwise. I hope Spring is about here, today was sunny and 55F Saturday is going to be 60F and sunny BWHAHAHA! Well I got to go I'm off to watch a friend's kitteh while they are gone to PV Mexico for 2 weeks. Keep warm Randy in NEB.

    1. not as hard as boston, where they have had over 100 inches. contrast with our 20 inches, and it's a drop in the bucket. this snowfall is probably the last of it.
