Saturday Night (All Night) Dance Party!

This is how I'm feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

SAME SEX MARRIAGE IS LEGAL IN THE USA!!!!!  (suck a big one, h8ers!  go set yourselves on fire, like you promised!  or jump offa bridge, like you promised!  or leave the country, like you promised!  see how far it gets ya!)

So what am I doing to celebrate this historic moment, an occasion I never thought I would see in my lifetime?

Let's dance our asses off!  What a great way to end PRIDE month!

Celebrate good times, c'mon!  It's a "Celebration"!

We're gonna have a party "All Night Long"!

"Goin' to the Chapel" and we're gonna get maaaaarried!

"It Feels Like I'm In Love" - with all my boyfriends!

"So Emotional" over this decision!

"Everybody Have Fun Tonight" - HELL YEAH!

"Dancing on the Ceiling" - are we THAT drunk?  HELL YEAH!

"Every Little Step" you will be there!

"Rock This Town" - HELL YEAH!

"Waiting for a Star to Fall" - and it DID from SCOTUS!

I wanna "Rock With You"!

  6. Late on the draw this week, A.M. (Btw: "M'ning" or, perhaps better, "Gd Afty"). It's now 7.30 p.m. here rather than my usual 6 a.m.
Out of this bumper crop of songs here I only know 7 of the 11 off the top of my head, though no doubt I'd know all or most of the rest were I to play them, which I dare NOT attempt, for aforementioned obvious reasons. But the current joyful occasion is reflected in appropriate magnitude by the by your extra-special selection, so thanks is due to you in any case.

Our Summer has arrived at last - and not only that, temps in the middle of next week are forecast to hit the mid- or even high 80s! I'm not sure we can stand that. We're just not used to it. Roll on Autumn!

Hope all are well - and you're keeping the pussies as cool as possible, no matter what the expense. All are fine here.
Enjoy the remainder of your sweltering w/e.
    Byeeeeeee!

    1. it's 4:40p sunday night, king, as I type this. we had a high school graduation party to attend (RTG's nephew) at BIL'S house. nephew will be reporting for duty in the US air force soon (his choice).

it has been a rainy and damp weekend; no air conditioner needed, only open windows. pussies were fine overnight.

now it's time for baseball and a slice of lemon meringue pie!

    2. Hmmm. Never a dull moment, I see. Mentally put aside a slice of that pie for me, will you please?

So want to go to the cinema today to see a VERY 'important' film, yet very much dreading going and leaving Blackso to go out and lie under a parked car on what has already started (now 8.30 a.m.) to be another hot day. My entire life revolves around him and his safety and comfort! He controls my lveryday movements as much as, well, a (clue to the film) Scientologist would have his life controlled! My blog will say whether or not I chanced it.

    3. so blackso has daddy wrapped around his little paw, eh? :-)

    4. Oh he has, A.M. and for 15 years - and I suspect that he knows it, the little rascal.
When I got back yesterday by then the sun was casting long shadows so he was lying openly on the pavement but in the shade - something which also makes me cringe, it being such a dangerous and cruel world out there. Anyway, the most important thing is that he survived another day. Today and tomorrow temps could hit 90, so I'll try to keep him inside all the time!
