Miss Oreo resting
Miss Gigi with her toys
Bellflowers
Purple pretties (don't know the real name); the bees LOVE it
Another shawl in progress
My "neon beast" shawl; Dr. Spo, cover your eyes!
Reminds me of summer and cotton candy colors.
The thermometer on the sunporch; a salute to Dr. Spo's relative!
My very best wishes to you as you celebrate your awesome victory today.
ReplyDeleteI hope that your day is spent with those whom you love and who love you.
uh, thanks?
DeleteWell, you know two more flower names than I do! The kitties have the right idea.
ReplyDeletekitties be chillin'. miss nyla was not available for photos this morning.
DeleteI love the shawl!
ReplyDeleteyou DO? you wondered why I was using neon green last time. now you can see why in context of the other colors.
DeleteI'm suddenly sorely tempted to crack open a bottle of red. Yes, I shall do so and raise a glass to your own most happy anniversary day (as well as to my own memories mentioned elsewhere). So here's cheers to yourself, Oreo, Gigi - and the absent snoozing Nyla, not to mention RTG. So, "Bottoms Up" to all of you!
ReplyDeletego ahead; we will be cracking a bottle of red tonight also - I am making chicken parm, and tossed salad (not THAT kind), and a chocolate cake for dinner (the cake is just about ready to be removed from the oven).
Delete"bottoms up" - heh heh heh! ;-)
Smirk, smirk - dirty giggle........(It's the wine talking - or it certainly was last night!)
Deleteheh heh heh! my mind runs naughty most times. I don't need wine for that!
DeleteI always think that 'smut au naturel' is the best kind!
DeleteSummer solstice blessings to you!
ReplyDeletethank you, dear; some interesting hunks on your blog too...
DeleteGreat kitty pics!
ReplyDeletethank you, dear! hope marvin and walter are treating their daddies well on this father's day!
DeleteYour cats look as if they have a great life! Food, comfort and zero work. Is the first shawl a merkin?
ReplyDeleteall 7 of my cats (4 now deceased) have a great life; all of them are rescue kitties. the only work they do is to love us, and that is priceless.
Deletethe first shawl is knit from the bottom-up (heh heh heh); I just started it 7 days ago, so it it quite small. it will keep getting wider and wider as I knit on. currently looks like a baby diaper; if it WERE a merkin (I confess I had to google that word), it would have to be MUCH bigger to cover me lady bits!
the second shawl is being knit from side to side. I started that one 1 month ago.
The kitties look contented
ReplyDeletethey are as lazy on the weekdays as they are on the weekends.
Deletetheir mommy is pretty damn lazy on the weekends too; I work hard all week at my job.
I love seeing garden pictures. Yours never disappointment.
ReplyDeletethank you dear; did it finally stop snowing out there? I would love to see pix of your back yard.
DeleteSummer? Already?? My ass is still hurting from falling on all that nasty winter ice.
ReplyDeleteI love your kitties. Miss Oreo is regal. Also love those colors in the summer shawl.
I haven't seen bellflowers since I was a kid.
awwwww, I wish I could make your ass feel alllll better. :(
Deleteoreo has a regal meow as well, deeper than nyla's (nyla was unavailable for a photo op). gigi has a squeak meow, more like a yip.
I am getting into the blue section of the summer shawl now; it will end with another green section, like its beginning.
the previous homeowner planted the bellflowers; they pop up every year. 15 years spouse and I have lived here, and everything she planted survives.
I totally, totally love bell flowers. I used to grow them out at the top garden until The Cheaper Half 'needed' the space for his green beans. Git.
ReplyDeleteLove to the kitties....♥
