Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"The Sweetest Taboo" - beautiful song from a beautiful lady!

  1. I can relate to this. It's been raining for a week here in TN and I'm thinking of dusty TX.

I'm treading water, but I'm still dancing......

  2. I remember this one. I may have to pull that old CD out and load it into my iTunes.

  3. I haven't heard that song in a long time. We should be getting a little bit of rain in the next 24 hours, but not nearly enough to do anything about the drought conditions.

    1. and THAT'S why the rain we have had all week should have gone to the left coast! :(

  4. M'ning, A.m. - though it's now actually 3 p.m. here. My routine knocked out of kilter this week by my having to go to surgery this morning for annual flu jab - and the increasingly frequent computer screen freezings haven't helped either. Still, I'm here is what matters.

Trust all are well at your domicile.
Not too bad here. With weather on the slide, Blackso's resumed sleeping with me all night. So there's him on one side, Patchie on the other, with me snaking myself uncomfortably mid the two of them. Doesn't make for a restful night.

Not sure I remember this Sade song, which is the epitome of 'cool'. Not too surprising as it only got to #31 here - in fact she/they only ever had one Top 10 hit here. (When Love was King - #6).

Do have a jolly fine w/e - or remainder of.
    We'll see you later, then.
    Byeeeeee.

    1. hello king, old bean!

been a rainy cold damp awful week over here; I turned the heat on in the house to help my asthma (and cats) stay warm. closed off the sunporch too; too cold out there right now.

spouse had his flu shot 2 weeks ago; I get mine the end of this month at my MD's office.

nothing new and different here, although some autumn colors are starting to appear slowly. will get pix when it brightens up a bit outside.

smooches to you and the pussies!

    2. To y'all too, A.M.
Warm pussies are THE priority. I'd far rather shiver myself than see my dear little ones in discomfort. So, hang the heating bills - no alternative but to keep 'em content!

  5. A nice mellow tune as we are spending the weekend indoors with all the rains and threats of flooding and high winds we'll endure until Monday.

Oh well, there's a bottle of wine around here somewhere, a good book, a sweet man and some cats to snuggle, so I'm good.

  8. Oh .... many babies have been made to many-a-Sade-song. The dance party in this case kinda refers to mattress dancing!

  9. Oh that song definitely brings back some memories. I used to love Sade's voice and I had a couple of her cd's years ago. I'm sitting on the couch, looking outside my window at the rain and this song is fitting. I'm glad I found your blog today and I hope you're enjoying what's left of your weekend... :)
