Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Barbie Girl" - some scary shit from a one-hit-wonder band!

Happy Hallowe'en/Blessed Samhain to all!

PS - And a hearty welcome to new friend (without a blog, but cute) The Boy Mogan!

we left you comments on his previous blog post, and he published a fresh post this morning.

depends on what kind of candy you have; any jello shots or penis pops?

  2. This video generates unnerving flashbacks of when I used to have a crush on the Ken doll.

Halloween? Already?? I love Halloween but I hate kids. Thank goodness they won't be trick or treating here in the mountain wilderness. I plan to have pizza and watch horror flicks.
    Have a delightfully spooky night.

    5. oh jon, she is SUCH a delight! I have had the pleasure of sharing lunch and cock-a-tails with maddie and she is every bit as real in person as she is out here in blogland.

  4. Luckily, as I am the Lone Mo who loathes Halloween, we live among the trees, down a very long dark driveway, so we get no one at our door.
    More candy for me!

  7. AM: Thanks for the address; I'll check out Todd's blog next. Sorry, but Mom and I are giving away Reese's peanut butter cups this year (cause we like them); some years, we have 5 kids visit; other years we have 50! If there is leftover candy, we want our favorite!

Thank you! I have visited Todd's blog, and commented on today's post, as well as his last one...!

    3. "goddess of the peanut butter cup"?

I stand corrected; todd likes the small bite-size cups; I like the king size cups. size matters...

  9. Has to be only brief visit this week, A.M. I'm laid low by dreaded seasonal bug. Rarely get ill but when I do, maybe once every three-four years, it really knocks me flat. So in a state of 'suffering' at the mo. Have to use what minimal energies I have to comfort the pussies tonight among all the bangs and whooshes. Hope my condition will pass soon.
Have a nice w/e, all of you.

    1. I'm just going to sit it out, A.M. - or, more accurately, lie it out. Just experienced an 'orrible, dreadfully looooooooooong night. Anyway, as it's something we all go through from time to time, I'm far too butch to go running after medicinal help for flimsy reasons... ;-)

    2. stubborn male! but please DO reconsider your butchness IF it lingers; don't want you developing pneumonia or something serious like that.

    3. Still feeling yukky this morning, A.M., but getting a distinct feeling that it's peaked, and now it's the long slog uphill again. Thanks for your concern - which is more than I've had from my 'co-habitees'!

    4. could be a false positive; keep careful watch; steady on, old chum. the pussies have their own way of caring.

  13. Ooooh, that's a scary one alright, I've haven't heard that one in a long time. I don't think I ever saw the video for it. Another good one for Halloween might be Dead Man's Party by Oingo Boingo. As for me I was on the couch with a pot of coffee on watching a Steven King movie Silver Bullet. Sorry I haven't been blogging much, will have something Sunday. Take care AM, smooches.

    1. last night, spouse and I played on our computers and had jazz music on in the background. there are no rugrats in mah hood, so no candy. and we had a late lunch of indian food, so no need to fix dinner.

  14. Does that mean you were feeling like a Barbie girl, Anne Marie? Where would you like Ken to put that smooth bald head of his?
