Saturday Night Dance Party!
This is how I am feeling right now.
Dance like no one's watching.
Sing like no one's listening.
"You Spin Me Round" - til I puke! Everyone follow the shiny disco ball... THEN, courtesy of friend John, tackle some of these moves; now THIS is dancing!
M'ning, A.M. Dancing is a very good ploy to keep us warmed up while we're having to endure our first Arctic blast of the Winter. Brrrrrr - What a chilling wind it is! It's keeping the pussies indoors, giving rise to certain sanitary 'concerns' (Blackso won't use the tray - and Noodles, although he sits in it, he keeps missing.) Thankfully this frigid spell is, forecast to only last for less than three days before a return to (relatively) mild conditions again. Can't come soon enough.
'Dead or Alive' topped the charts here in '85, only getting to a modest #11 on Billboard.
I saw the dancing clip on J.G.'s blog but couldn't get it to play there. Now with your posting here that's now been rectified. Can't help wondering how many takes a lot of the excerpts required in order to get them polished to perfection. They certainly are most impressive.
Otherwise all fine here, as I hope you and yours are. hHve a super-douper w/e, d'you hear? Byeeeee.
Pete Burns wasn't bad, until he completely destroyed his face with plastic surgery. He wound up looking like Cher's evil sister.
I saw the dance video on Johns blog, but I definitely enjoyed watching it again. It's gonna get down to 15 degrees tomorrow night - - and sure as hell need to utilize all the dance steps I can to keep warm.
Watch out here I come! I absolutely love this timeless classic.
I hope all is well. I'm spending the weekend (mostly) relaxing. I have a hockey game to watch, and a lot of shopping --err, walking to do later this morning. ;-)
Two videos - what a treat! I preferred the second one to the guy with an eye patch. Would you have allowed Groucho Marx to kiss your arm from the wrist to the shoulder?
M'ning, A.M.
