This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

Hope you and your co-residents are ALL well. We are.
    - with good news on the Blackso front (and back). More on that in a sec.

I only vaguely recall this K.K. offering, though it did get to #2 here in '92 and, I see, actually achieved the summit in U.S.

Our weather continues freakishly mild (though windy and rather wet, with some flooding in parts. Not around here.) Temps are more like May. Even the daffs are blooming! Looks like this is going to turn out to be our warmest Dec on record overall, which suits me fine, but it's also worrying. We're only too aware that it could all change quite hideously anytime and perhaps just within a few hours. Still, I'm 'enjoying' it while it lasts. Positive thinking!

Speaking of which, I couldn't ignore Blackso's pitiful state any longer, what with those ugly sores on back (es[ecially shoulders and above his tail) so I took him to vet two days ago. Thank the Lord that it wasn't as bad as I was dreading, which would have destroyed me too. Turns out it's a 'flea allergy' (strange, as he's never had it before in his 16 year life) and I have to give him three tablets a day crushed up in his food, then to take him back in two weeks. Already he's showing signs of improvement. The lumps are going down and his fur is already feeling sleeker. MUCH relief, as you can imagine. I'm ever so happy, though know full well that at his age he simply can't have that much longer to go before something finally will take him down. But we'll just have to face that when it comes, which is, ever so delighted to say, not yet. He and Noodles (and Patchie who thinks I've given up and allowed him to move in) all send their loves and loudest purrs to your entire household. And so do I.

    Byeeeee.

    1. Morning Raybeard ... at least on this side of the pond:
So glad to hear your Blackso is doing better, looking better and feeling better.
That's probably a load off both your minds!

    2. It's exactly that, Bob - and thanks for your thoughts. I would never have thought that his improvement could have been so very rapid, but nearly all the lumps that one could feel all over him have now gone, except that a shoulder blade still looks like it's been shaved, though fur is already starting to grow even there again. But certainly much relief for both of us.

    3. @king raybeard - YAYZ for blackso on the road to recovery!!!!! now we don't have flowers blooming or trees leafing out, but the weeds think it's spring and have begun showing themselves. and after I had men come in an do a backyard fall cleanup/mulch placement too. loud purrs from nyla and oreo; silent purrs from gigi to their cousins (and you) across the pond!

  3. It's too damn cold to jump. It was 73 degrees last week. Today was 27....and tonight (as I write this) it's 19. Fortunately Bosco keeps me warm in bed.
Dear Gawd, I never thought I'd live to see the day when I'd be sharing my bed with cats.......

I'm delighted to hear that Ray's kitty Blackso is improving.

    1. Thanks, Jon - but am very surprised that you're not well used to this particular kind of bed-sharing. It's one of my greatest comforts.
Whatever you do don't blow your frigid weather in this direction. Send it back up to the Arctic.

  8. Good morning! This is a great song, and I wish I would hear it more often.

It's not as cold this morning as it's been lately. Exercising indoors while it's 32 degrees outside takes some getting used to now that I have a "normal" work day. I'm enjoying yet another three-day weekend, and we might get some rain tonight.

  9. I never cared for Kris Kross. Just seemed like two kids exploited by their parents and the music industry. I hope you have a great weekend. RJJS.
