I figured you and your fellow apes might swing from the trees over these pretty girls. and there are certain things I do not discuss in public; I MUST keep my air of mystery up, dont'cha know!
Well, I certainly prefer boy bands - - but the girls admittedly put me in a dancing mood. Even though I'm wet. It POURED rain all day on Christmas. The wettest Xmas I can remember.
M'ning, A.M. - and I've noticed that you, very disturbingly, passed under my radar for 'cringlish' wishes this year, which won't do at all. So, to make part-amends, I do wish you, your other half, plus the three young furry ladies a most enjoyable remainder of the hols, extending all the way into 2016 - though not too far in so as to make it boring as an expected everyday event. More of that later in the week.
I didn't know this record at all, which isn't so surprising seeing as it only reached #47 here in '82 - though, of course, Ms Carlisle went on to greater things.
Our weather remains mild. It's going to be our warmest Dec on record, which is a bit scary - though with lots of wind and even more precipitation in areas which are already flooded. No such problems in these parts, thank Heavens. You also are still mild, I believe. We saw tornados on our news recently, but not in your environs. I think it's due to get more seasonably colder for you shortly, though not (yet) for us.
So, are all well there with you? Okay here but it's only Blackso who's now an everyday concern. I think his flea-rash problem has been cured but it's left some parts of him pathetically hairless - bald white skin under his all-black fur shows up horribly, poor thing. Also, he walks loping from side to side as if drunk, which I think can only be his age. Still, he's eating fine and is re-appreciating me as last night, for the first time in several weeks, he slept with me in bed, with frequent purrings. It's heartbreaking seeing him in his sorry state yet still so trusting. Got to take him back to vet on Thurs. Only hoping that the prognostication is nothing upsetting. Already losing much sleep over him. Otherwise Noodles and Patchie are as right as rain.
That's all for now. 'Speak' to you again sometime over next few days, I'm sure.
thank you, dear raybeard; I am most grateful for your friendship across the pond.
we are supposed to be 20 degrees cooler for new years day, but thankfully no tornadoes and such for us.
xmess day was a modest and quiet one. chinese food for lunch, but no movie as (a) I had a headache and (b) we both needed naps. pussy girls are fine, as you saw on spouse's blog.
I currently have the house windows open and the DAFFODILS are blooming in the backyard. bloody hell!
For some unknown reason I started thinking of Frankie Goes to Hollywood and their song/video "Relax" yesterday. Looked it up and thought to myself "now that's something that I'd love to see on DJ Philly Toughbitch's dance party".
.... and forgot to mention that I love the GoGos!! Fun choice, merci beaucoup. I read Belinda Carlisle's biography, it was interesting to read about the origins of the group.
... okay now I'm finished reading through! (Not the comments though). I have noticed one thing though, it's time for you to have a BRAIN DUMP! haha Those are hilarious and it's been a while since your last one so there must be lots to dump!
May that feeling carrying you through 2016 Just browsing through blogspotville and thought I’d stop in to wish you a happy new year. May you have more triumphs than trials More joy than sorrow More support than judgement More Inspiration than discouragement More resources and access than obstacles and may you know through it all That you are blessed and a blessing (by D.S.B.S.Rhapsody)
