Saturday Night Dance Party!

(BLOGGER IS BEING A TOTAL BITCH AND WILL NOT LET ME MAKE THE TEXT BIGGER! FUCK YOU!)

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" - a shameless steal from Mistress Maddie! Because DISCO NEVER DIES!

PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YOUNG BOB!

PPS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STEVIE B!

A bonus - RIP, Paul Kantner. Jefferson Airplane, "Somebody to Love", 1967. American Bandstand appearance.

  1. Blogger is often a total bitch and apparently has no regrets.

Grace Slick! Yes!!! Resurrects a lot of memories.

Still cold as a penguin's kiss here in the wilds of TN. I'm trying to dance my way into spring.

    1. you got THAT right, jon!

funny, I have been smooched by a travel penguin, and it was warm and nice!

1967 - I was 13 years old and music & dancing was EVERYTHING, as was war protesting...

  2. Under 'Edit', you'll see a rectangular box that says 'Normal'. Click on that and it will give you different options to increase the size of the font, like Subheading, Heading, etc.

    2. Haha Blogger can be such a dick sometimes. That'll occasionally happen to me and I found that logging out and back in usually does the trick.

      Stay warm GC! <3

    3. I'll have to try that, because presently I'm having the same problem as Anne Marie (and it's not the first time).

  3. Good evening. I'm about ready to go to bed soon. The Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona is on TV in roughly 11 hours, and I have to get sleep, a workout, and my step count in before it begins.

RIP Paul Kantner. I loved listening to Jefferson Starship as a kid and still listen to them on occasion to this day.

As for some weeks now, can't enjoy your vids on this sound-lost computer which, in addition, keeps freezing every few minutes, taking unaccountably long to 'thaw' every time. Still, we'll keep trying our best.

Hope all are well, following your snowstorms - or was that dandruff falling from the Trump's hair on top?
We've just had a dreadfully wild night, wind and rain, a final kick from your what was recently own storm. By the time it got here it had warmed up, so wet rather than
white. Calmed down now, and relatively mild for end Jan. I think it's all thawed where you are?

Nothing much else to say for now. I'll think of something later.

    'byeeeee.

    1. this was no dandruff, since the rump's mane is as fake as a televangelist's tears.

finally made it into work on tuesday; some of it has melted, but still about 12-16 inches on the ground. we are supposed to warm up this week; perhaps that will rid the yard of the remainder.

20 days til baseball pitches/catchers report for spring training - for me, THAT is the day spring begins!

hope you and the pussies are safe and warm. :)

    2. All fine and warm here, thanks, A.M. Getting a regular new window visitor to mop up what the others have left. A fluffy tortie so (unfortunately) likely to be F - so if I allow it to stay I don't want to have all the trouble with kittens again that I had a couple of years ago. But it's such a little dearie that I just cannot shut it out - so for now it's strictly meals only!

Hope you're having/had a fine w/e (sorry I didn't wish you last time). See ya later.

it's now 4p, I went to the grocery store today (cause I didn't leave the house last weekend), and it's almost 60F outside. but I cannot tell if any of the snow is melting cause there is still too damn much of it!

  5. Wow that's a rapid dance beat! Can you jiggle your buns fast enough to keep up with that, Anne Marie? I bet I could make your fonts bigger if you gave me your password. ;)

  14. I was listening to the Studio 54 channel in the car on the way home last night. They played You Make Me Feel. It made for a most enjoyable ride home.

I can remember watch Jefferson Airplane on American Bandstand. I was only ten at the time.

Hope you and spouse have a great weekend!

  16. I've not heard of Sylvester before but it's always a good thing being introduced to new (to me) artists. And one can never go wrong with disco.
