M'ning, A.M., All okay there? We're right as a trivet here, all four of us. Being still mute, can't play your offering yet again. T.H. were one of my fave groups of the 80s, though the title of this one doesn't ring bells with me. Perhaps it wasn't released as s single here. So I'll just have to live with the frustration, but accepting daily frustration is something I've grown very used to with advancing years.
I'd hoped that we'd seen Winter's arse by now with these few milder days. But we're due for yet another Arctic blast mid-next week, with chilly days and chillier, frosty nights. Oh, will it never end? And you? Has your white stuff turned liquid and washed away yet? Or is it lingering around like the Trump, and just refusing to go away?
Have an utterly MAH-vellous w/e y'all. D'ya hear? Byeeeee!
hello king raybeard. trying to keep a stiff upper lip here. spouse is ill with an upper respiratory infection, for which he is on prescription meds. I am hoping I don't catch it. this bug has been going around his office and takes 2-3 weeks to pass. dammit. :(
today we reached 60F, BUT we still have snow piles in the backyard from that 30 inch dropping a few weeks ago. the piles are just like donald the rump, the unwelcome guest that wouldn't leave.
today I went to the grocery store (cats need food) and did some laundry and other assorted house chores. spouse loaded the dishwasher and helped bring in the grocery bags. mostly he rested, as his illness wears him out quickly.
I see. So life isn't quite a bundle of fun at the moment, then? Well let's wish the clouds away with hopes for an early Springtime, though that's seems to be wishing for rather a lot right now. Hope the hubby's back on his legs quickly. Can't have you alone doing ALL the dirty work. Kisses and rubs right back to the be-whiskered ones - and you too, naturally.
Well that's an interesting baptism lyric! Are you supposed to be nekkid in the river when you're being washed down? How about I take you to the bubble bath instead?
Take me to the river....
ReplyDeleteto wash all my sins away.
Hell, a river won't do it. I'd need the Pacific Ocean.
bwhahahahahaha! you and me both!
