Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"We Got The Beat" - HELL YEAH!  Shake dat ass!

PS - Please keep Travel Penguin and Dr. Spo and Fearsome Beard and Mark in your thoughts as they deal with serious family medical issues.

  1. Belinda Carlisle has an autobiography out, it's an interesting read. My favourite Go-Gos song is "Our Lips are Sealed", but this one was always good for bopping around to as well.

Hope spring has sprung in your neck of the woods.

  2. G'day, A.M.
    How art thou?
With your Prez & Mrs Prez living it up with the Royals (and causing controversy regarding our upcoming European Union referendum) some 50 miles north of here, I greet you on, yes, another shivery morn. Heating on as per usual - and, after a brief preview for one day of what it ought to be like at this time of year, seems we're back again to February-ish weather until into May at least. Still, can't do anything about it, so end of moan.

All fine here otherwise. Are you over your recent health troubles now or are vestiges of it lingering? Hope it's abated enough for you to enjoy the lovely weather YOU must be having. (Nudge nudge).

Unable to enjoy your music offering, as ever - so what's new?

    Nuffink else to report, methinks.
    So, till whenever,
    Byeeeeee!

    1. I see freckles beat ya to the top spot!

having lunch with the queen and dinner with the grandkids; the pix of obama with wee prince george in his bathrobe made me smile.

I still have the heat on at night, but keep it off during the day. everything turned green almost overnight, it seems. spouse and I are feeling human once again; no breathing issues. there is a touch of itchy eyes on my part due to all the damn pollen, bit it's a mere trifle.

rub the pussies bellies for me; hugs for you.

    2. I'm always giving their tum-tums a rub anyway, A.M., but as you request it they'll get extra ones now, with your name attached.

Coming to the end of your Pres' visit it's been a great success, I must say (though that may well depend on where ones sympathies lie).
On our news this evening, during a Q & A session with younger people a young woman came out to the world as transgender (though she confusedly used another word - binomial?, which I thought was only an algebraic term). Apparently even her parents hadn't known. If Mr O hadn't completely understood what she meant he certainly got the drift and replied accordingly. More ammo for Cruz and his cronies, Fox News et al to express their disapproval/disgust? - which ought to be as deadly as firing blanks.

  3. I don't think I've ever heard of the Go-Go's. Did I miss something....or am I just losing my memory? Maybe I was only interested in the all-BOY bands (just a thought).

Spring has finally sprung, and with it come the bees, wasps, carpenter bees, gnats, beetles, ticks, spiders,

    and allergies.

  4. Hmm, I really like the look of this all-girl rock band. Why aren't there more of them? They look like the kind of girls who would sit on a man's face if he took their fancy! ;)

  5. This is the sort of track to manically do the housework to. Which is exactly why I turned up the volume and handed Guido a duster and some polish. Thanks!

  9. The Go-Go's? YASSSSSSSSSS!

I still love them to this day, and in case you were wondering there are stories about them with male "groupies". They were well ahead of their time in many ways.
