Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Witch Queen of New Orleans" - just in time for Halloween!  (And all y'all can call me BITCH QUEEN OF PHILLY!)

  1. Hi, anne marie!

I well remember this single by Redbone along with their big hit "Come and Get Your Love," but this is the first time I saw this live performance. Thank you! Wiki sez: "Redbone is known and accredited in the NY Smithsonian as the first Native American rock/Cajun group to have a No. 1 single in the United States and internationally."

Happy Saturday to you, anne marie. Have a fine weekend and don't let the orange blob gitcha on Halloween night! :)

  4. I might be the Tech Queen of SoCal. My Kindle tablets are getting old, and I feel like leaving the Amazon yard for Google Play for my next tablet purchase.

I'm also on vacay until next Friday. Happy Halloween!

  6. G.day, W.Q.,
We're well down the pecking order this week, but that's life!
Don't recall this pleasant little number at all, though, to some surprise, I see that it got to our #2 in '71. Perhaps memory lapses are starting to kick in. Oh well!

Unchanged here. All as previous. Cooling down gradually so as long as nothing sudden happens we should be able to cope.

I won't mention the obvious goings-on at your end, which we have as headline news every day now, and will do for at least another two weeks. Apart from that hope you are well and taking life in its stride, as you generally manage to do.

Have a jolly nice w/e and a spookily delicious 31st, without scaring the little 'uns. My own trio are getting unnerved by the fireworks which stared days ago and will carry on past the 5th until about mid-Nov, only to pick up again as New Year approaches. When I was a kid it was only on 5th November, our 'Bonfire night', then we'd never hear another bang until the same date next year. Now with both the American and European influences our pets' nerves get frazzled annually over a long period. Times do change!

    Have fun doing......whatever.
    Byeeeeeee!

  8. I love it!!!!
We need more Witch Queens - - and especially Bitch Queens!
The only thing we DON'T need are those damn little Trick or Treaters. Fortunately I won't have to deal with them out here in the wilderness.
The weather is gorgeous - it's gonna be 80 degrees on Halloween. My kitties are ecstatic.

    Happy haunting.....

  9. There are witches in New Orleans? I never knew. I thought voodoo was more common over there. Have you ever stuck pins in a doll, Anne Marie?
