Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Making It" - they stand when I walk through the neighborhood = RECOGNIZE!

(A disco tune just for Janey, Goddess of Autumn)

  2. Fernando Lamas (Billy Crystal) on SNL:

You look mahvelous. It is better to look good than to feel good.

    Hi, anne marie!

It is I/me, Shady Del Knight, blogging's answer to Deney Terrio! :) This clip recalls a time when disco ruled and the emphasis was on looking great and dancing divinely to upbeat songs. I remember David Naughton starring in the horror movie An American Werewolf in London.

Have a super weekend, dear friend anne marie!

    2. We live on the Gulf side of the peninsula and therefore avoided Matthew's wrath.

  3. That's a catchy butt-shaking number for the weekend! David Naughton looks to be of the same vintage as his namesake David Cassidy. Did you ever scream for David Cassidy, Anne Marie?

  4. OMG I forgot David Naughton could sing! I hope you're having a great weekend so far. I've had a couple of sleepless nights, but otherwise I'm doing great over here.

  5. G'day, W.Q.,
Not for the first time (or second) did I not know this one - or Mr Naughton himself. I see it reached our #44 in '79 and was his only chart entry - but I s'pose it's aimiable enough, being very much one of its time.

All fine here in our Autumn weather, with the four of us getting ever older, which is showing in three or more of us (at least).
You okay too? Aches and pains still abounding or are they more kind of 'background noises' now?

Nuffink really new to add. If I don't 'see' you or RTG before next w/e wish him a happy, comfortable one from me, will you please?
And give my you-know-whats to you-know who.
    And here's one for you - X.
    Byeeeee!

    1. top o the morning, king! wind and rain this morning, heat's been on all week, still no colourful leaves in these parts.

RTG has to wear his soft cast for another 3 weeks, but the MD says it's healing. the pussy girls and I are fine (shut up, donald the rump!).

      29 days til the election...

snorgles to all at your house!

  6. That should be our theme song for the day as we are "Making It" through Hurricane Matthew with, so far, fingers crossed, very little damage.
One of our neighbor's huge trees came down in our back yard, though it missed the house; we'll have to wait til tomorrow to see what's what.

  11. Whenever I see Naughton, I also see werewolves and dancing bottles of Dr. Pepper. Strange.
And I hate to admit it, but LONG ago I had a vest unnervingly similar to the one he is wearing.

Beautiful autumn weather here in TN and I'm loving it. Have a great holiday weekend. I think Columbus had something to do with it....
