Saturday Night Protest Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Another Day In Paradise" - life in Donald Dump's Murikkka after his budget passes.

If you didn't see/read these words, it sums up this song nicely.

RESIST!  ORGANIZE!  MOBILIZE!  CALL OUT THE H8!

Hope health issues (RTG) and weather issues (if any) are settled down. But hope that WQ never settles down. Keep on keepin' on .. being fierce.

  3. Love Phil.
I had a friend who was obsessed with him back in the day and wanted to stalk him all around California whenever he came on tour.
And, since I was obsessed with Sting and she went with me when I stalked him all over California, I obliged.
And now, back to Paradise ... when _____ is gone, we'll be back on our way toward that goal and away from hate and divisiveness.

  4. G'day, W.Q.,
Sorry to rain on your parade, but can't help wondering if this Mr Collins is still the arch-conservative he used to be twenty and more years ago. His political stances of the past make him, regretfully, one of those artists whose politics always gets in the way when I hear one of his songs. Maybe it shouldn't matter. (Can't be bothered to do the searches to find out his current thinkings.)

Are you still in the snowy depths of Winter? I've a feeling that the worst is over for you. Thrust that's how it is.
We're back to 'basking' in average temps for time of the year (10C by day) and wistfully look back on the brief foretaste of Summer we enjoyed for a few, too few, days. But it will return soonish. We demand it!

Otherwise all fine here, with Noodles still maddeningly doing his wees - and sometimes stinkies - all over the place and me going around with wet cloth, kitchen tissues and odour spray. Don't know what's got into him. He wasn't doing it a year ago. My exclamations of severe displeasure have made no difference. He just shrugs it off in a "Huh! Too bad!" kind of way. (The other three are as good as gold - at least in that respect). I trust your trio are better behaved than my N. If they weren't I'm sure you'd have let us know.

'ope you 'ave un week-end fantastique no matter what you're doing or not doing.
Regards to all, with special fur-strokes directed to your little brood.
    Byeeeee!

    1. hello king. snow from last tuesday is still there, since the temps have been hovering around 0C all week. afraid once the snow melts, the flowers that were pushing up will be dead and won't bloom.

all is well here; it's sunny today, cats are taking their morning naps, RTG is unloading the dishwasher, and I am answering my commenters. gigi has taken up a new habit - she sleeps on the chair in my bedroom at night, like she is guarding me from some night beastie.

later today we will go to the grocery store for cat food and human food.

snorgles to all at your house, even noodles!

  6. Good morning! I hope all is well. I'm getting ready to watch the 12 Hours of Sebring auto race, but not the full twelve hours. It's something I can watch here and there throughout the day.

The heat wave is over, and the temperature might only hit 70 degrees today. Yes!

  9. Never was a Phill fan, but I did she that article. "mental health and substance abuse won't be covered. Great we will be a country of mentally ill and substance abusers. What ass's trump and his admin. Part of me wants him out now, but part of me hopes he runs so much in the ground and does so much damage, the assholes who voted him in will be speechless by his antics. Some STILL don't see it. Amazing.

  10. It is going to be an ugly budget year, all of the stupid ideas of the past 10 years, are all in one budget package. Zeroing out civil legal aid for people at the poverty level - that has not been tried since Saint Ronald, and he proposed doing it over 4 years, not all at once.
