Let's celebrate my 30th second birthday (June 21). Thirty years ago, I was operated on for a cancer that was going to kill me. FUCK YOU, CANCER! I got a second chance at life! Take no prisoners, damn the torpedoes, kick major ass, full speed ahead!

A very happy anniversary for yesterday, W.Q. You couldn't have any better reason to celebrate, along with all these gems from yesteryear to shake along to. And the Tom Petty title has never felt more appropriate for these troubled, scary times.

The Tavern really does look nice and socially welcoming - though on perusing the menus, not sure if we veggies would be able to manage. Nonetheless, could work my way round it. Were you able to sit outside or was the temp not amenable enough?
DeleteWe're all doing fine here, thanks, though some of us are getting knocked out with the 'heat'. (Moan, moan, moan!). Enjoy it while it lasts, I say - it's not going to be for long, that's for sure.

Saying that, I had to break my blessed (to some) silence and pop in to say CONGRATULATIONS on your 30th anniversary! I'm so glad I was able to meet you (sort of) and that never would've happened if you weren't such a stubborn fighter :) Because of you, I (yes it's all about me) have a terrific friend, a knitted hat and scarf ensemble, and a new word for my boobs, JAHOOBIES! This is a great song set. Roland Gift is a particular favorite of mine, to look at more than listen to. He's like a sexy reptile. Love Paula Abdul, and not ashamed to admit it.

I think Pete is fucked because of the shooting last week in Southbend. It is even posted on International news outlets. Damn those cops. It ruined his chance of any political career. Now or future. Pete now has 'baggage'.
