Saturday Night Protest Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Living With A Hernia" - that's what it's like for we the people under Donald Dump!

"Keep believing. Keep marching. Keep building. Keep raising your voice. Every generation has the opportunity to remake the world.” - Barack Obama, July 2018

PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY (August 27) to David!

  1. I do hope there's a golf course in the vicinity of Biarritz, W.Q. otherwise I fret as to how 'The Chosen One' will get through upcoming G7 summit without taking time out to relax from his exertions in defending Brazilian President/Amazon forest destroyer - this very G7 group to become G8 by including Russia in future if the 'King of the Jews' manages to convince the other 6 that Putrid is actually a good, reliable ally to allow into the tent. And who could possibly disagree with that? ;-)
Still, I've not the least doubt that it'll be plain sailing with no controversy at all, right?

I think you're just over with your blistering days of late Summer, while we've got a high chance here of records being broken for this time of year. It worries me intensely that we see people on our news being interviewed about the weather and saying "Oh. it's LOVELY!". Damn frightening, I'd call it.

Have a more relaxing w/e than you might have had recently, and please tell the pussies that the discomfort should soon be past - at least from that direction.
We're all fine here as well.
    Byeeeeee!

    1. hope the other REAL leaders are smacking the dump's fat orange face every chance they get! I see he took the first whore with him. can someone PLEASE keep them in europe, we REALLY don't want them back!

the air conditioner is OFF yesterday and today, and the windows are open. a gorgeous autumn-like day here, sunny with a few clouds.

did you see poop francis called for prayers for the brazilian rainforest fires? what a stoopid muthafucka in an ugly house dress!

the pussie girls are SO enjoying the open windows.

RTG just posted his weekly rant.

off to knit a bit; hugs to all at your establishment.

    2. That suggestion of Papa Frankie (bless his red cotton socks!) never made it to the news here, as far as I'm aware. Yet why did no one think of it before? Yes, prayer is the go-to answer for everything, including where the big 'G' herself was the cause of it, or, by neglect or by being distracted, allowed it to happen. But not to worry, she'll surely answer our prayers and piss on the flames from above.
Btw: I'm currently re-reading Richard Dawkins' 'The God Delusion', which I last encountered 12 years ago. He mentions the curious point that as the health of our Queen and all the Royal Family are prayed for by millions every week (at least mainly in Church of England services) and have been prayed for for centuries, wouldn't we expect them to be the healthiest people on the planet? Though it's true that in recent years they have been demonstrating rather alarming instances of longevity, I'm not sure that has anything to do with prayers - and particularly in relation to exercising judgement re consorting with paedos who've served (token) prison sentences. Even more prayers must be the answer!

I've just responded to RTG's blast, in a manner befitting its subject matter.

      'See' ya later!

    3. it's clear that QEII takes after her mother in the longevity department. it's been said that HM is the only queen some people have ever known; I daresay that's you and several million more of your fellow citizens. only queen I have ever known too.

    4. Although I don't remember his death in Feb 52, or anything about her father, George VI, having been king, with the present Queen's accession to becoming sovereign on that same day, as is convention, I do recall my first day at school (as, of course, do many) which had been actually five months earlier.
But I do remember clearly all the razzmatazz of the Coronation in June 53 with streets and stores hanging out flags and bunting in a heady blaze of colour and celebration, whole streets vying with each other trying to be the most decorated in the town. It was a happy, fun time.
Although I can't say I recall Coronation Day itself I do remember my mother, grandmother and aunt all glued to the radio, TV then being an exceptionally rare luxury.
Times have moved on at incredible pace since then and when Chas finally gets to wear the bejewelled headgear, he having by then been by far the oldest monarch ever to ascend the throne in British history (and with the lovely Camilla by his side), one can only expect and hope that it'll be a much more low-key affair. However, when Wills eventually gets his turn I bet there'll be far more hurrahs for him than for his father.

    5. I don't think anyone gives a shit about charles & the horse. I think charles should just step aside and let wills run things. wills is not stupid and has a loving family to help him.

  2. I do believe you're suggesting, in a roundabout way of course, that we surgically remove him... without anesthesia, of course.

Because of that post and your enthusiastic fan comments, I've been listening to a big Junior Brown playlist on YouTube ever since. I AM NOW A DIE-HARD FAN TOO! What a guitar player!
