    1. I think plants are vegetarians, no? abby should be safe. but have the gnomes earn their beer by watching over this plant 24/7.

  10. OMG X 2!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I am NOT talking about your cakes.

I was going to leave this until I recovered my composure, but do tell me now - did Gigi and Oreo already know each other? And what is Nyla's reaction - all claws out or couldn't care a flying f*ck? Oh, I'm lost for words. I'm in L-O-V-E, at long last.
(Now don't torture me by not reporting regularly on their progress - with illustrations!)

    1. oreo and gigi came from our local SPCA on may 18. nyla is claws out, hiss, spit, growl. and they back at her. I am afraid to leave them alone with each other whilst we are at our jobs.

on the plus side, gigi sleeps with her daddy and nyla sleeps with me. gigi and oreo love to rub up against us and give us kisses.

      socialisation will take more time.

    2. re Nyla: Oh dear! I do hope she comes to appreciate her new co-residents quickly and get to know that she has nothing to fear. I suppose she sees them as a threat, which is understandable considering that she saw herself as unique, which she had been. But let's hope that she'll come to appreciate them as much as you and I do. Please give occasional updates.

    1. spouse also does well in the garden; he likes getting his hands dirty. I mos def DO NOT!

the cake and icing were not from a box, but from my own hands mixing ingredients.
