Saturday Night Dance Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Rock Me Gently" - hairy bear + neck chain + open shirt + tight pants = the 70s!

And yes, way gay here ... I remember watching Tom Jones, not for the music but for the pants.

    3. true story: my 60-something grandmother went to see tom jones in concert in the late 60s; she threw her granny panties at him!

  2. Hairy bears, open shirts, tight pants - - heck, I'm trapped in the 70's and I kinda like it....
95 degrees today and it's suddenly summer. A beautiful, rain-free weekend. My kitties send all their love.

  5. Andy Kim was a real Canadian icon! You know, he's still recording but under a different name now (perhaps his real one?) Can't remember what it is, at the moment. I'm an old geezer now like he is too.

  6. G,day, A.M.
It's mighty strange that I don't recall this long-legged one at all, even though he got this number to our #2 in '74. I don't even recall his name - must have been asleep at the time. (Couldn't help noticing, in passing, that he's a mere 7 weeks younger than me - if he's still around, that is). Still, the sound remains a good, gentle-sway-to one.

All fine and (almost) in apple-pie order here, as we yet await our first 'hot' day.
Blackso's fur's still being shed but otherwise he's not suffering. I'm booked for my annual visit to big sis in 3 weeks time, and both the older pussies absolutely HATE going int the cattery, but that's too bad. The newest pussy addition will have to be shut out and fend for himself, leaving me to spend the week fretting over him, but there's no ready alternative.

And you? All happy as Larry? I'll take it that you are - at least until you tell us, with reasons, why it's not the case, heaven forbid!

    So for now, byeeeeee!

    1. RJ in denver doesn't remember this guy/song either. and andy kim is still playing; see my response to debra above.

all is well here, both pussies and humans. I have recovered completely from the bronchitis of 3 weeks ago. today is supposed to be 90F and thunderstorms in the afternoon. spouse and I have been doing chores.

poor blackso and noodles; no freedom, but they get care and meals. they will be happy to see you when you return from your holiday. as will the other pussy visitors.

until next weekend then, snorgles to all!

    2. The cats 'happy' to see on my return? You must be joking! If they are they hide it well. No, they act as though it had been my DUTY to release them back home - and they refuse to show any warmth towards me until I abjectly apologise for putting them through what they had to endure! So much for any 'gratitude' I get!

    3. if we return from a trip, the girls ignore us for 1-2 hours, then all is forgiven as they snuggle up against us.
