  1. Well, I have been waiting for you to finally get up and post another fine song! LOL I have been up since 5:30 am. I adopted a new kitten, Hazel, who is a blast, but who seems to piss off Ivy, my cat of two years. They are working it out, and the kitten seems unfazed by Ivy's growling and rumbling. I think Ivy is just asserting her dominance (although I assert that I am the leader of the pack). So you will have a new kitten to see and play with when you come visit!

Dear Raybeard, I have a fainting disorder, and fall often; I do not always land like a feather. I hope your landing was too harsh, and that you are back on your feet soon! :-)

Warrior Queen, can you please turn down the heat and humidity outside? I am sooo fucking over it. Thanks Girlfriend!

    1. Thanks for your concern, Janey, but I'm still on my feet - just. Luckily I don't suffer from the same ailment as you, which would be serious cause for concern, as it must be for all who do suffer under it.
No, I think I just wasn't looking where I was going. Tomorrow I'm going to make way gingerly (always nervous about going out now) to check out the spot where I tumbled. It'll be reassuring if there's a slightly raised paving-stone or something there to have caused the fall. If there's nothing at all, that'll be cause for worry.

Btw: In your two lines to me above, I'm mentally altering your "was" to "wasn't" - unless of course you let me know that it stands as it is. (Something I didn't quite manage to do myself!) ;-)

Yes, Raybeard, I did indeed mean to express my hope that your fall was NOT too harsh. What an awful typo! I was not yet fully caffeinated. Be well!

Yes, and it's quite a story as to how I came upon this kitten, regrettably too long to type out here for the pleasure of all WQ's readers. But yes, I adopted an unwanted kitten to help alleviate Pottstown's truly urgent need for cat adopters.

  2. I was a wee bit of an H&O fan back in the day; Little John Oates. Scoop him up, put him in your pocket and off you go!

As for Raybeard, Glad you're on the mend, sir. I know the feeling of taking a tumble because I don't look where I'm going! Take it easy!

    Faboosh weekend AM!

    1. Thanks, Bob. It's a long and winding road to the full 'mend' but I'm on it.
Btw: I used to have the hots for Little John too back then - and he's even now still got some of those looks.

  3. (Second attempt here. Drat!)

Thanks very much for your mention yet again, A.M. I'm thriving on the publicity, getting many more looks at my blog than usual. It's a fabulous honour ('honor' to you) to be the dedicatee on this your Saturday blog which has now become an 'institution'.

A kiss on my lips (or even 'list') would be a painful prospect right now. To get my coffee down I have to slurp it noisily, otherwise it'd all dribble down my front. It's a sound that I just cannot bear when other people make it as part of their routine, everyday imbibing. Just as well I live alone. The pussies don't seem to mind as I'm getting no glowering, disapproving looks from them.
As for eating, that's an even greater problem. If I want a sandwich first got to remove the crusts, then cut up the remainder into small squares - just like feeding a baby (I imagine).
Dinner has it's own problems. Got to chop everything up into tiny portions or mash it all up (biting is impossible) then shovel it in through the side. Not a very pleasant situation.

Appointment with dentist at Mon noon approaches. Is bound to be just the first of a series of visits, so if I can get it at least under way it'll be something. Wish it wasn't so but there's no avoiding it.

But never mind all this boo-hooing about me - how are you and yours?
Are you still baking? - weatherwise, I mean. We're back to around 70 after a thankfully very brief sojourn into 90s territory..
Pussies are well. Blackso's regular absences still giving me 'kittens', so to speak, but what can one do? Too much to be concerned about.

That'll be all for now. Thanks you again for helping me through this turbulent time with a positive outlook. Any further developments on that front will be 'publicised'.

    See ya later,
    Byyeeeeee!

    1. How's about if we just send our kisses to your cheeks? Hope the recovery from the fall continues to go well and the dental visits will be quick.

    2. Thank Gawd you finally have an appointment with the dentist. I'm certain it will be unpleasant but it's a big step in the right direction. Good luck!

    3. Thanks very much, Jon and Maddie. Wish I could sleep the whole business through and only wake up when it's all over. But, heigh-ho, I can't!

    4. perhaps try a drinking straw for the liquids?

yep, still hazy hot humid hell here. makes pussies and humans tired. good luck tomorrow!

    5. I'd already put drinking straws on my tomorrow's shopping list, A.M. Good and helpful idea - and we both had it, which just goes to show.

    6. Btw: I really ought to have thanked you before now for your e-mail re Jon's pussy pics. At your instigation I visited his 'Cabinet' blog and posted my comment there. It was a post well worth seeing.
I also should mention in passing that that your message very nearly got trashed as 'spam' when I first read the title. I get a number of 'saucy' e-mails - not too many, thankfully - from young ladies offering me a look at their 'wares'. It's just one of those inconveniences that one has to put up with. But, of course, they're wasting their time with me. So are men actually, nowadays, but at least there's a spark of interest for those.
It was only when I noticed the name of the sender that I knew it was safe for the pussies to be 'opened up'(!). So thank you for taking the trouble to think of me. Anything to raise the spirits at the moment is welcome.

  5. Good morning! I'm not feeling so good right now. I woke up in the middle of the night with back spasms, and I somehow got through my morning walk without any issues. I'm going to take it easy the rest of the day... but I have to get through laundry, grocery shopping and a few errands first. :-(

  11. It's been a looong time since I heard Hall and Oates. After WEEKS of rain it has finally stopped for a day. More is expected tomorrow.
I'm so glad you're helping to keep Raybeard in our thoughts.

  13. Kiss on my list. Hmm. Does that mean kissing someone is like buying toilet paper? Maybe his girlfriend could remind him by sticking out her tongue. Have you ever stuck out your tongue, Anne Marie?
