G'day, W.Q. This is a real get-up-and-shake-it number - and I very nearly did, but still not taking the risk just for a little while longer. I see it got to our #16 in (goodness gracious!) 1988! Just where have all the years gone?
I've seen and acknowledged your NY wishes on my own blog, but no harm at all in repeating it here, which I'm happy to do, with all the bells, buzzers and fireworks attached (Now get lost, 2016, before you do any more damage!)
All well here with Winter still being relatively kind to us. The pussies seem to have decided to hibernate, only getting up to eat and poo (in the litter trays - they don't like to go out in the cold) but can't blame them as it's what I'd like to do. Roll on Summer! Hope you and all yours are similarly content, with understandable trepidation for when the 'T' really starts, having already started making his mark(s) before he even commences his term. Should be a white-knuckle ride - but it's a shame that we're trapped on it and can't get off. Happy NY to all - and stay bright and cheerful, just as you always manage to do. Byeeeeee!
Happy New Year! I'm about ready to go to bed here on the Left Coast. It's raining, but I don't mind. We need all we can get.
I'm visiting my friend in town and I probably won't get home until after midnight, just in case the neighbors upstairs play their TV at volume level 60 again.
I hope you'll be shaking that ass tonight!!!!!!!!! I'll be having my usual dinner party, and ringing the New Year in intimately with a few friends. I could use help cooking here!?!? A Happy New,Year too you ANNE MARIE!!! You are the warrior queen....here you roar!!! They should put you in the mummers parade dear! You and me......oh dear.
eh, spouse and I stayed home and had snacks (cheese & crackers, nuts) and booze. I was asleep by 10:30a. that is what happens when you are over 60! ;-b
Girl! Did I teach a few arobics classes to that classic 1980s tune! Wow! The memories. Skinny twenty something twink with one Fearsome pornstache! Happy New Year my dearest of dears.
I kissed Gloria Estefan -- a real face sucking -- at the Berwick Fair circa 1985. Love her. But I would have still preferred George Michael's "Freedom" as the New Year's song. I know, I know: shut the fuck up and start my own blog! Happy 2017 to WQ and RTG!
All the best for 2017, WQ and RTG (and assorted kitty cats).
ReplyDelete~ Freckles
and the same to you, dear freckles!
