Saturday Night Protest Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Desire" - I desire the House to START IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS RIGHT FUCKING NOW!  WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

"Keep believing. Keep marching. Keep building. Keep raising your voice. Every generation has the opportunity to remake the world.” - Barack Obama, July 2018

PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY (June 1) to Squire John Gray

PPS - And since it's my blog, it's time for a show tune!

  1. They should start impeachment proceedings ASAP. If only o annoy Cheeto. Ugh. I despise his smug demeanor.
    Love me some U2!
And the sailors in that musical number gave me the tingle to mingle, Anna Marie! Nice choice!

    1. Mistress, "organ day" and the revelation of restored pipes? This sounds vaguely dirty to me. As I age, all of the good stuff is getting sucked out of my brain, leaving a pile of filth behind. *Sigh*.

    2. Organs at the Casa? The whole place will be throbbing.

  4. I remember being a young teen and telling people about this great new band called U2, where did time go.
The second video is cute, I forgot today is June first lol. It says June is a "gay" month so that's my kind of month! Don't you just know that while we were looking at the cute guys singing and dancing, Maddie was looking at the women thinking, "how can I make myself one of those frilly dresses"! ;p

  6. After a very frustrating week of watching Pelosi saying we need more evidence and hearings, I'm asking myself, really? The Abomination is obstructing everyday, right in full view. If the Dems do nothing, he will become more emboldened and do more damage than he has done.

Exactly, what we need, a show tune from the golden age of musicals. We will never see anything like this again.

    1. hello paul; thanks for stopping by. every damn day, a small piece of the USA is shattered due to the orange shithead. HOW MUCH LONGER do we the people have to wait?

  7. Happy Pride 2019! The flag is out and I'm waiting for a new crop of church ladies to start knocking on the door.
Stonewall Riots were 50 years ago. It is hard to believe it has been so long.

  9. Good morning, and thanks for the nice music first thing in the morning.

I'm waiting for Nancy to grow a spine. It's well past time to not only talk impeachment, but to start the process by holding hearings on live television so the American people can see for themselves what a terrible subhuman we have in the Oval Office.

The more we wait, the more I wonder if Nancy is bought and sold too.

    1. I still think you Americans have to vote Trump out and the Republicans, with hopefully one of your democratic candidates. Impeachment will not help. Then you have Pence to deal with, even more vile and evil then trump, and after pence, a long line of idiots in the waiting. The Dems have got to vote, and hope the liberal Republicans will vote dem too.

    2. we know, dear. there are some dems that will vote only for bernie sanders; if he doesn't win the nomination, they will stay home. putzy pence is evil personified. and some dump supporters are finally starting to realize that he's a con and is not doing them any favors.

  10. Oooh, music from Carousel! Such bright music from such a depressing (to me) movie. I agree with Bob. It's ALWAYS time for a show tune.
The song that's playing in my head right now is "My Give a Damn is Busted". As you can see, I wasn't eaten by a bear :)

    1. Is your news carrying any talk of the huge waves 'you-know-who' is making over here, W.Q.? - and this is BEFORE he even arrives! Obama had been rightly castigated for suggesting that we shouldn't leave the European Union as being not for him to say, but that's as nothing to what the Big Orange (and very stable) Genius has been declaring in the last couple of days - like suggesting that the very person who invited him here, currently 'caretaker' Prime Minister (failed) Theresa May "screwed up" her negotiations with Europe - and is suggesting that one in particular of the dozen or so candidates to succeed her would be an "excellent" choice - and you can guess who that is - yes, none other than our very own racist buffoon and the closest imitation to Trump we have, one Boris Johnson ("very talented" he says). And as if that wasn't not bad enough, he commends his far-right friend and Brexit maniac, the rabid Nigel Farage (oh yes, another Pres. Putrid admirer!) as a 'power house' who should have more influence...... and yet furthermore he suggests that if the U.K. doesn't get what it wants from the E.U. after leaving, we should walk away from paying the £39 billion we OWE them! His skills at diplomacy just leaves one breathless. At least we know where he stands regarding leaders interfering in other countries' affairs - namely that it should NOT be done - unless it's himself......or Putrid!
Anyway, when he arrives (I think it's tomorrow, Mon) we wish him a most successful and productive visit, with no mishaps (hah!). I hope he watches his footing as he comes down the steps after his V.I.P. flight - we'd hate to see him tumbling down arse-over-tit, perhaps bringing the lovely First Lady down with him, landing on her back with legs in the air and with all his elephantine weight on top of her before he has a chance to take the pressure on his shoulders. Oh what a horrible, horrible sight that would be!
We're bound to here all what happens down to the tiniest detail. I can hardly wait.

Wishing you all a jolly nice Sunday, from me and FOUR pussycats here right now all dozing.

    2. "His skills at diplomacy just leaves one breathless." - HE HAS NONE! he's an ignorant putz!

oh yes, the dump's "comments" are being broadcast here; I wish he would STFU permanently! he can't even "lead" this country, yet alone tell another country what to do!

      4 pussies? oh my!

today is chore day and indian food for lunch day.

I do not envy charlie and william and harry over the next several days. thank the dogs and cats HM QEII is staying home; she probably had quite enough of the dump's rudeness to her last year.

    3. I'm worried that for the ultra-advanced age Her Maj has now attained, his presence and all the tension and stress it's engendering here might well finish her off! Now wouldn't that be a legacy of his to 'boast' about! (With any luck she might finish HIM off!)
And then there's the D-Day commemoration on Wed in Portsmouth with multiple countries' leaders - and with more than enough opportunity for him to put his foot in it somehow - and he will!
A most interesting week coming up.

For today's dinner I'm having cabbage, carrots, pots and onions all heated together (with water and olive-oil marge) slowly on low, plus fried quorn sausages. That's about as sophisticated as my 'cooking' ever gets. Enjoy your Indian!

  14. To be perfectly honest I’ve eaten so much today I feel like I’m busting out all over; never mind June. However I must say some of those guys’ trousers look so tight they might be about to bust out themselves - and I don’t mean their stomachs.
    Good choice.
Trump is over here next week. Look out for me. I’ll be the guy with the big eye brows standing behind him and the Queen with the the sign that says “Hi AM!”

And impeachment will backfire the same way it did when the Republicans impeached Clinton. Patience, my dear, let it simmer a bit longer.
