Saturday Night Protest Party!

This is how I am feeling right now.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

"Self Control" - a character trait Donald Dump DOES NOT have!

"Keep believing. Keep marching. Keep building. Keep raising your voice. Every generation has the opportunity to remake the world.” - Barack Obama, July 2018

PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY (October 25) to the one and only MISTRESS MADDIE!

  3. Laura Brannigan! Ohhhh
And you know Cheeto is a 72 year old petulant, thin-skinned and entitled child-man with no sense of control. Or morals. Or decency.

    XoXo

Hey Carebear. Check your e-mail again. I just sent another card, and I'm testing to see if it arrived. I also tried to resend the original, but I probably messed that procedure up.

  7. Like Deedles above, I'm very fond of this record. For me it's very evocative of times spent in Munich where around this period it was played repeatedly in one of their most popular leather bars - a bar which, ironically, had a 'dark room' where self-control was the last thing on the minds of its occupants when this song came blasting through the walls - or so imagine what it must have been like. (This was just before the big 'A' hit Europe like a sledgehammer, though when it did such places were closed down - the 'dark rooms' not the bars themselves.) But, oh, those bitter-sweet memories!

Have a splendiferous w/e, W.Q., you and ALL your co-habitees - from self and ALL mine.

    1. you must have been quite the dancer in your day, king. the big A took too many promising lives far too soon.

today is gray and rainy and windy and cold; RTG and I are going to spend it inside. I will slow cook a pork roast in pineapple juice for supper. the kitties are deep asleep in their morning naps.

pity it's such a yuck day and RTG is not comfortable walking outside yet; "judy" is at the ambler theater. we may have to miss out right now while he recovers.

see ya next weekend; {{{{{hugs}}}}} to all at your modest flat!

    1. true, linda. I have known many people who are "memememememe" all the time; I do not associate with those types. the dump is like a stain that nothing can remove. except an election free of russian influence.
