First, a surprise prize from everybody's fave commenter, Duchess Deedles!
The rainbow unicorn can koozies say I'm Fucking Magical!
The rainbow unicorn coffee mug says
Back the fuck up

today is not the day
I will shank you
with my horn
Sounds like me, amirite?
Second, my first COVID vax!
My county held a vax clinic at the local high school yesterday and I was able to snag an appointment. VERY WELL ORGANIZED they were; cops at the front door checking IDs and masks, no mask no entry. 30 minutes tops from arrival to departure. My left arm feels fine, but the vax made me ultra sleepy. I get the second dose in April.
Deedles nailed it!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the vax. We're up this week!
didn't she though? good luck to you and carlos!
DeleteOh, Duchess Deedles KNOWS YOU! Those are just great, LOL! And I'm happy you've now received the first vaccine shot!
ReplyDeletesurprise prizes are the best!
DeleteOh my God! I'm so happy you were able to get the vax, and I love the swag you got from Deedles.
ReplyDeletewell, I AM over 65 with pre-existing conditions, so...I am in the first group after all the first responders, of course.
Deletelove the swag...very cute.
ReplyDeletegreat to hear that you got your vax. for me, the 1st was ok. the 2nd one, i had the usual sore similar to getting the flu vax.
I get #2 in april. the nurse at the event said to drink plenty of liquids the day before the second shot.
DeleteWatched a movie called The Unicorn Store a day ago, actually! These prints are quite cute! 🤍
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you got vaccinated. Hope we can soon get back to (more) normal life. 🙂
the more people that get the shot, the better off this country will be. if the MAGAts refuse, let them die!
DeleteI love your gifts, but I REALLY love the fact that you got your first shot! Hooray!!
ReplyDeleteyeah, the wait was worth it.
DeleteGreat news about the vaccine. So glad. And that Deedles is a sweetheart... if a bit off color!
ReplyDeleteMuch chortling! Glad about the vax. :-)
ReplyDeletehas anyone in your family had the vax yet? lucky the little gnomes don't need it; all they need is beer!
DeleteSparkle tits? You really should keep your secrets to yourself.
ReplyDeleteI had my 2nd today, mostly because you got a mug with 'sparkle tits' on it.
bwhahahahahahahaha!
DeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteIKR!
DeleteI got a kick out of those sayings, I really like what was written!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were able to get your first COVID-19 Vaccine. I've had my first and second one already. My arm was a little sore from the first one, but after my second vaccine, I got quite sick for about a day. Nonetheless, I'm glad I got them!
How wonderful,
ReplyDeleteI have such good friends! :)
DeleteSo happy for you! Yay. Hope you remain feeling good. How many weeks until shot two? Love the mug and cozies. Take good care of yourself, dear. Kizzes.
ReplyDeletefirst week in april for #2; the county will contact me with an appointment.
Deletegood for you !
ReplyDeleteyeah. the nurses and the volunteers were so professional and caring. social distancing was practiced.
DeleteYay for the vaccine!
ReplyDeleteAnd glad you got a date for the second shot.
That mug is everything!!!
XOXO
duchess deedles is such a dear!
DeleteJab #1 over, good for you.
ReplyDeleteyes! I didn't even feel the shot; the nurse was a good one. hope you and the pussies are well. 3 weeks til springtime!
DeleteI too didn't feel the prick enter, W.Q., though felt it a day or two after in the form of a sore arm, which happens to most anyway. However, nausea on the following day was quite unpleasant and I'm not looking forward to it occurring after the second shot which should be in a month or so, especially since quite a lot are saying that the after-effects of #2 were, for them, still worse. But sounds like you got through the first without any deleterious affects at all.
DeleteAll well with everyone here, thanks, as I trust you and yours are. Watching with pleasure how the daylight is lengthening day by day.
we get to move the clocks forward this sunday; lard, how I HATE doing that!
DeleteOurs go f/w on 28th. I likewise am totally weary of it. Every flippin' year, for TWICE a year. we get the same old eternal debate of whether we should just cease doing it - and nothing ever changes. It just carries on as before. I recall way back in the 1960s they were jabbering on about stopping it even then. Strewth!
DeleteI want uncle joe to stop this shit, but he has bigger fish to fry right now, like getting this country back on the progressive track.
Deletethank goodness the horn is on the mug, otherwise you may sit on it.and it doesn't surprise me you got a prick.
ReplyDeletemany of us LOVE pricks, dear! hope you are feeling better!
DeleteGood for you, Carebear! Balder Half is going in for his second shot this Thursday. I made him, I mean suggested that, he take Friday off. He listened for once. We are prepared for the aftereffects. His job arbitrarily made him an appointment without him having any input. For some reason, spouses weren't included. I have to shop around for mine.
ReplyDeleteyour spouse is a first responder, so yeah he got the shot first. we registered with our county guvmint to get the shot; can you do the same? or register with a local pharmacy?
DeleteOutstanding gifts. Yay for the vaccine!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
deedles is a special lady!
DeleteLove the gifts you got from Deedles. Very exciting and right on brand for you, anne marie in philly. Great news about the vaccination as well.
ReplyDeletethank you, dear! deedles knows me all too well. more people need to get the vax so we as a country can get back to normal. and uncle joe is leading the way!
DeleteI am glad you are getting your shots.
ReplyDeleteapril 2 will be #2 for me.
